The Dream Grows

Today I sit on my couch after yesterday's 17 hour day of wedding work. As I sit here, I began to realize the truth about this past month. I am going to be completely honest and say that my world has been turned completely around. In this last month, I have realized what God is calling me to do, I have met some great friends that will last a lifetime, and I have finally found that place where I can call my home away from home.

It is the time to rest, relax, and think about everything that happened before this next week gets started! I realize how truly blessed I am to get this amazing opportunity to work at Ashley & Co and all the useful things I am learning. It is one crazy adventure that I LOVE every minute of! I would like to share a few pictures from two weddings we recently got the chance to be a part of.

This first wedding was the first one I was ever a part of! I fell absolutely in love with the style and decor we used throughout this whole venue. As most of you know, I am a rustic girl completely in love with vintage items, succulents, and burlap! So this one was definitely up my alley....to say the least! This bride and groom were an absolute joy and this wedding fit them perfectly. These pictures show a few pieces of the accent decor around the venue that I got the chance to be apart of setting up.

I am so in love with this typewriter and flowers! This just stole my heart as soon I saw the finished product!!

This second wedding was a vintage beauty comprised of lanterns, twine, and lots of candles! I received the chance to be apart of the set up as well, and it was a lot of fun decorating this venue. This bride and groom [and the wedding party:)] were sure a blast to get to know through this whole process. The wedding ceremony took place in a small white chapel covered in candles and magnolia leaves (MY FAVORITE)! These pictures provide a sneak peak into both the inside and outside reception area, and the bride and groom head table!

I have quickly noticed that I start looking forward to my weekends not because of no classes or football games, but because I honestly enjoy what I get the opportunity to do almost every weekend! This month has not been the easiest, but it is one that I would not change for anything. I have grown in my adulthood, found my career path, and gained knowledge in many different aspects. I am forever grateful for this last month of people and memories! This is only the beginning of what God has in store for me over the next few years. This is simply me trying to convey the excitement, love, and joy I have found over these last 30 days.

XOXO, Rev
